Use Pressbooks Results with your LMS for Grade Passback

Pressbooks allows you to embed interactive activities throughout your book using a simple tool called H5P. With Pressbooks Results, students’ scores on gradable H5P activities automatically record in the learning management system (LMS) gradebook. Instructors using this feature say grade passback encourages students to spend time working through course materials. They can teach differently informed by learning data: Pressbooks Results displays information about how their students have performed on H5P activities, as well as, in the near future, details about responses submitted by students for a range of supported H5P activity types. Pressbooks Results also allows students to view their own scores for H5P activities they have attempted.

Pressbooks Results works through LTI integration between the Pressbooks Platform and your LMS. Pressbooks’ LTI plug-in supports grade passback and other benefits of LTI integration: user account creation and authentication, deep linking, and a seamless experience using Pressbooks content inside the LMS.
